I remember very clearly getting a copy of "Pop Goes The World" by Men Without Hats - perfect little synthpop tape of the 90s, very Canadian. I also remember taking classical guitar lessons at age 7 for many years - and it shaped my music to come! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? M83, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming (Deluxe Edition) Neon Neon, Years of Lead EP I love M83's sonic presence, it's hard to beat the pure catchiness of Does It Offend You, Yeah! and Neon Neon is one of my favorite artist collaborations of all time. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lost My Only Friend” This song is about how I have had 4 friends die of fentanyl overdoses in the past year. We need legal, clean drugs for drug users - now. None of them wanted to die. This war against drug users and the stigma must stop now. We're killing our friends. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing live to an audience in March of 2022 at Pearson International Airport with a supporting band - that was so much fun, time went by so quickly! I loved every moment, and playing live and engaging with an audience is what music is all about! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm dying to hear some of my songs about transgender issues or social issues be placed appropriately on television or in a film! It's time for trans voices to be heard for everyone!
